A college is considered as an academic institution of higher learning offering In colleges, the library occupies a prominent position and it is an important and integral part of the teaching programme. It is not merely a depository of books, but an active workshop instrument in the production of or original thinking. The aim of college education and college libraries in interrelated. College library extends opportunities for self-education to the deserving and enthusiastic students without any distinction. libraries develop in each student a sense of responsibility in the pursuit of knowledge. College library stimulates the students to obtain, evaluate and recognize knowledge and to familiarize themselves with the trends of knowledge for further education and learning new disciplines.

Our college Library had shifted to its new Building in 2005. The Central Library building is in 5400 Square ft. area & is being covered with a various separate sections consisting Acquisition Section, Technical Section, Circulation Section, Reference Section, Periodical Section, Text Book Section, Computer Section, Reading Section, Photocopy Section for the benefit of students, faculty & staff. More quality Books are being added to the library on a regular basis. Quality of education largely depends upon the collection of the books & other material in the Library.

The Central Library provides access to Journals and e-Resources of International publications through Digital Library Consortium, INFLIBNET and also to subscription based e-Resources from various suppliers & renowned publishers Library Automation:

The Library is an integrated Library Management software package- the e-Granthalaya 4.0 with all the modules for the Library housekeeping operations. Users can find the latest additions of books and periodicals in the Library, status of books(issued/on-shelf) and against his account books overdue against his name. Using Granthalaya 4.0 (Online Public Access Catalogue), users can search the Library Online Catalogue by Authors, Title, Subject, and Keywords. Library catalogue is automated and fully indexed. The catalogue can be browsed and searched by author, titles, and subject/keywords.

The entire Library collection is Bar-coded. Bar-coded Library cards are printed inhouse in the Library and are issued to the members. Barcode technology enables circulation of books in easy, reliable and user friendly manner. Apart from this, any member can also find the status of books issued in their name, overdue, fines, etc.
