National Cadet Corps launched Tree plantation drive in the college campus on 14-8-2017
In order to preserve the green gold for the enhancement of congenial environment of earth and to spread the importance of plants among the students, a plantation drive in the campus was undertaken by the Infantry Wing of 2 J&K Bn. NCC on 14-8-2017. A total of 50 saplings were planted, including medicinal plants like Neem, Amla etc. The activity was accomplished under the supervision of worthy Principal Dr. Ajeet Angral and ANO’s Dr.Karan Singh and Rashu Sharma.The College Principal in his address apprised the cadets about the dire and pristine need of planting trees to ensure existence of life on earth. The ANO’s also deliberated on the demirits of deforestation and importance of plantation drives for the betterment of future generations. On this occasion Dr. G.M. Bakal, Director Colleges Department of Higher Education was the Chef Guest who appreciated the initiative taken by involving NCC cadets in various environment friendly activities.
