| Placement DriveJammu, 29th March 2022.Central University of Jammu in collaboration with Govt MAM College conducted an online Placement drive .The placement drive was a part of project on employability skills training initiated by Department of Higher Education. Prof.Devanand, Chairman and Administrator of the project briefed that the initiative is an endeavor to provide skill based training to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir under the skill initiative of the Government of J&K. Central University of Jammu is the academic partner in skilling initiatives of HEI under HED wherein vocational trainings and employability trainings is being provided to over more than seven hundred students across twenty colleges in the UT of J&K. The project team comprised of Prof. Jaya Bhasin, Dr. Bacha Babu, Dr. Neelika Arora and Dr Shahid .The team apprised that the skill courses have not only up skilled the students of various colleges in UT in different skills as also employability opportunities have been provided. This placement drive is the the series of other placement opportunities that have been lined up in near future. Mr Sharad Garg CEO Unicorn private Limited offered placements to the students of BBA/BCA/BA in the drive. Prof.G.S Rakwal, Principal MAM College appreciated the efforts of the team and expressed great satisfaction over the placement drive. Dr Banpreet kaur Convenor Placement Cell ,Prof. Bharti Slathia Coordinator Skill Enhancement,Prof Rajkumar Head Computer science,Prof Meena Gupta coordinated the drive on behalf of the college. |
