| Department of English, Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu organized a Poster–making competition on occasion of World No Tobacco day on 31st May 2022 in collaboration with IQAC under AZADI KA MAHAOTSAV under the patronage of worthy Principal of the college, Prof (Dr.) G S Rakwal. The Head of the department Prof. Ruth. K. Masehi began the program speaking about the ill-effects of tobacco use. Students from all semesters participated in the program and gave expression to their creativity. The participants made colourful posters on the theme. The motto of this activity was to create awareness in the students to say no to tobacco.Akshar Goswami of 2nd semester won the first prize, Surya Pratap Singh of the 2nd Semester won the second prize and Akrity Sharma of second semester won the third prize. Four consolation prizes were given to Shubham Lata, Bhawya Mahajan and Govind Manocha and Shivansh Sharma respectively.
