| The career counselling and placement cell of Maulana Azad College organised an online lecture on Changing role of Teachers :Teachers to facilitators to commemorate Teachers Day .Teachers put strenuous efforts to make students responsible citizens, who are ready to work for the welfare of the nation in every possible manner. Dr Shibani C Aich from the department of English, Amritapuri, Amrita University delivered an online talk and exhorted that teachers are the dream shapers not only because they instilled the passion for learning in their students, but also for inspiring them to face new challenges in life with confidence.She also shared the role of a teacher in a student’s life considering them the nation builders. Prof G. S Rakwal, Principal of the college appreciated the Resource person on talking on such a pertinent topic highlighting the roles played by teachers in varied fields. He appreciated the endeavour of Career counselling and placement cell for organising such a lecture and also told the team to organise meaningful event at regular intervals.The event started with a brief introduction by Prof Bharti Slathia .Present on the occasion were Prof Amitpal Kaur, Prof Banpreet Kaur, Convenor Carrer counselling Placement cell,Prof Neeraj Sharma, Prof Mohd.
