| Sumit Thakyal a student of Semester 2nd of Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu brought laurels to the college and J&K UT by securing 1st Position and Gold Medal in Junior Deadlift in 52 KG Weight class at National Powerlifting Championship organized by Indian Powerlifting Federation. He has also been selected for World Championship being held in USA in December. He has created National record in deadlifting of 170 KG and won the overall title of Strong Man (National).Prof. G.S Rakwal Principal of the college congratulated Sumit Thakyal and wished him success at National & International level. |
