| Department Urdu & Literary Club Maulana Azad memorial college Jammu in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art culture and Languages organized a symposium & cultural programme for the awareness on the theme “Nasha Mukht Bharat“under the patronage of college principal Professor G.S Rakwal The event commenced with an introductory address by Dr.Shahnaz Qadri, H.O.D Urdu. She highlighted the importance of the topic and quoted some verse on the relevance of the topic. Professor Ruth K Masehi HOD English presented a brief research article on the topic “Youth and Drug abuse“. Dr Shehnaz Qadri also presented a research article on the topic “Nawjawan aur Manshiyat ki bidat” after that five students participated and share their views on the topic namely Saquib Farooq, Umar Ayoub, Adatay Bharadwaj, Mohd Mohein& Sharaz Ahmad. After symposium a music program was conducted by the students of PG Music. Professor Geentanjali Rana Dean Humanities and Liberal Arts was present in the program and she graced the occasion. Renowned singer Mr Darmesh Mangotra was accompanied by the team of JKAACL . I He presented singing items and Ghazals. Dr Shahnawaz Choudhary also shared his views on the topic and he also encouraged the students to collectively fight against drug addiction and drug abuse. Principal Maulana Azad memorial College Jammu professor GS Rakwal in his speech encouraged the students for participation in such programmes and appreciated the efforts of the team of J&K AACL Jammu and he thanked the dignitries with a formal presidential address. The proceedings of the program were conducted by the students of the college. |
