| Vivekanand Kendra Kanyakumari, Jammu branch organized an Intra-College Speech Competition at Govt. MAM College Jammu. This contest was aimed at selecting two best speakers who are further going to participate in Inter-College Speech Competition to be held at Govt. Girls Degree College Gandhinagar on 11th of September. The organization is working to revive the ethos of Swami Vivekananda by conducting such events, as the youth of India on the name of modernism is exposed to plethora of distractions in following ideal moral conduct. The event was chaired by Dr. Renu Nanda the Convener of Cultural Committee and judged by Prof. Neelu Gupta, Prof. Bhawana Khajuria and Prof. Reena Rani. In total, nine speakers spoke upon the topic “Chicago Address by Vivekananda”. The two most outstanding speakers were Sanchit and Rakshit who are going to represent the College in the Inter-College Competition. The conduct of the competition was monitored by the comperers Avantika and Sanchit. Prof. Rashu Sharma delivered the formal vote thanks. The other faculty members who graced the occasion were Prof Nalini Pathania, Prof. Sharmshita Sharma, Prof. Anupama, Prof. Deepti and Prof. Richa Gupta. |
