| The Career Counselling and Placement cell of the college conducted a lecture on Cyber Awareness for the faculty and students of the college. Mr Chain Kumar Sharma, PSI Gandhi nagar station was the resource person on the occasion. He awarded the students about cyber awareness and its importance in the modern era as the lack of awareness gives rise to lot of cyber crimes. He explained in detail about various scams like phishing ,data breach, hacking . He threw light on the alternatives to be resorted in such incidents. He also talked about legal framework like IT Act 2000 ,IPC which deal with the cyber crime. Prof Sanjay Karlupia HOD Geology formally welcomed the guests and motivated the students to be aware of such pertinent topics. Mr Pankaj Sharma, Inspector Gandhi Nagar Basharat Hussain PSI Gandhi Nagar, Rohit Gandhi , SHO, Ware House Police Station, were also present on the occasion. About 90 students from BBA, BA and BCA streams attended the lecture.Prof Banpreet Kour, Prof Amitpal Kour Prof Bharati Slathia , Prof Neetika Sharma, Prof Mohd Ashraf supervised the program. |
