| The NSS Unit of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu in collaboration with Mission Shakti, Social Welfare Department organised a special lecture on "Women Empowerment and Government women centric schemes" under the patronage of College Principal, Dr G.S Rakwal. The guest speaker was Miss.Khushboo, Gender specialist from Mission Shakti. The programme was made possible through Miss.Paru Manchanda, senior NSS Volunteer. The programme focused on women's empowerment and women's self worth, their ability to determine their own choices and the right to influence social change for themselves and others.The entire event was conducted under the supervision of NSS Programme Officer, Dr Koushal Kiran Thakur and Prof.Shabeer Ahmed. |
