| The NSS Unit of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu, a constituent college of Cluster University of Jammu under the patronage of College Principal Prof G.S. Rakwal organized a Winter Clothes Distribution drive. A team of NSS volunteers accompanied by the NSS Programme Officers distributed clothes to the needy and poor, dwelling on the footpaths and other pockets of the city. The distributed winter clothes were donated by the NSS volunteers as they wanted to extend a helping hand to the poor section of the society in fighting the blistering cold this season. The NSS Unit also interacted with a group of children at the points of clothes distribution and taught them some essential life skills. The entire event was conducted under the supervision of the NSS Programme Officers. |
