| Department of Political Science celebrated Voter’s Day with the theme of “Nothing like voting, I vote for sure”. In this regard the department organized a slogan -writing competition.The competition was conducted under the patronage of Principal, Prof. (Dr) G.S Rakwal. A large number of students participated in the competition. The Slogan – writing competition was coordinated by Dr. Seema Jamwal, HOD, Prof. Vijeeta Anand, Prof. Lukesha Dubgotra and Prof Rohella Sadiq. The competition began with the administration of National Voters Day Pledge by Akshar Goswami, a student of the department. The pledge was administered to the entire college and was attended by the Principal, NSS-SF unit.Mohammad Yaseen of Sem 3rd stood 1st, Urvashi of Sem 3rd stood 2nd and Tofeeq Ahmed of sem 3 came 3rd. The consolation prizes was given to Izha Asma and of Sem 3rd. The Competition was adjudged by Dr.Shabila Wani, Head, Department of Psychology, Dr. Shehnaz Qadri Head, Department of Urdu. |
