| On the occasion of inaugural ceremony of India’s G20 Presidency, on 15th February 2023 Department of Psychology in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance cell (IQAC) of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu organized an Expert talk on “Standard of Life and diseases”. Resource person of the occasion was Dr Taranpreet Kour Assistant Professor Department of General Medicine AIIMS, Jammu.The program was organized under the supervision of Dr. Shabila Wani HOD. Psychology and Prof. Neeraj Sharma IQAC coordinator and under the dynamic guidance of Dr. Prof. G.S Rakwal Principal of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu. As a welcoming gesture Dr. Shabila Wani presented a planter to Dr. Prof. G.S Rakwal Principal of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu.In the Expert Talk Dr Taranpreet Kour sensitized the students and faculty about the ways to prevent diseases and how to raise their standard of living so that one can live a healthy and disease free life. She even enlightened them about the benefits of yoga and exercises and how bad eating habits can deteriorate one’s health. After the Expert Talk she had an interactive session with the students and professors in which she coherently and intelligently cleared their doubts and queries.During the closing ceremony Dr. Prof. G.S Rakwal presented a Memento and a planter to the Resource person, Dr Taranpreet Kour Assistant Professor Department of General Medicine AIIMS, Jammu as the gesture of appreciation for giving us her valuable time.Dr. Prof. G.S Rakwal Principal of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu in his closing remarks encouraged the students to follow the benevolent guidance and advice which the resource person provided to them.Faculty members who managed the event were Dr Richa Gupta , Prof. Neelam Kumari . |
