| Department of Computer Application, Govt. M.A.M. College, Jammu organizes freshers party on the theme ‘Jashan-e-Agman’ for the new entrants of the department. The programme commenced with the lightning of the traditional lamp along with the recital of the Gayatri Mantra. Prof. Monika Mahajan, Head of the Department welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr.Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college and freshers and gave a brief profile of the course along with a roadmap for the future initiatives to be taken by the institution to ensure the holistic development of the students in academics and other activities. The cultural programme showcased the talent of the youth and gave glimpses of the cultural diversity of the state.Dr. Ajeet Angral, Principal of the College congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and ensured his full support and cooperation towards their academic growth. He also advised them to follow the gospels of discipline and dedication in mind and spirit for a glorious future. Mr. Akshit Singh Jamwal and Ms. Tanvi Angotra were adjudged Mr. Fresher and Miss. Fresher. All the faculty of the department of Computer Application graced the occasion with their presence which boosted the morale of the students. The programme was anchored by Ms.Sapna and Ms. Shivani of BCA 5th Semester. A formal vote of thanks was presented Prof. Ranjit Singh Slathia. |
