| Career Counselling and Placement Cell of the college in collaboration with Directorate Placement Cell of Cluster University of Jammu and kartavya institute conducted a seminar on Career Counselling and Placements apprising students of the placement Opportunities under the aegies of Azadi ka Amrit Mahautsav and G 20. About 50 students from BBA, BA, participated in the programme. Mr. Dushant Singh ,Career Counselling officer , District employment and Counselling Center Jammu and Mr. Dinesh Choudhary from Kartavya institute were the resource persons. Both of them generated awareness about various placement opportunities, career prospects, various government schemes,information about the job fairs.The lecture was followed by an interactive session wherein the students raised queries.Prof DS Manhas,Head, Directorate Placement cell,Cluster University of Jammu gave the welcome address where he highlighted the role played by the Placement Cell in getting students placed.Dr.GS Rakwal, Principal of the college was the chief guest on the ocassion.Dr Twinkle Suri ,Dean students welfare and Dr Geetanjali Rana ,Dean Humanities were the Guests of Honor.Ms. Vijeeta Anand presented the formal vote of thanks. Prof Banpreet Kour, Prof Bharti Slathia attended the event. |
