Jammu 13th June’23: Department of Business Administration, Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Jammu successfully conducted a comprehensive and impactful session on the Stock Exchange aimed at providing the students of BBA with a comprehensive understanding of the stock exchange and its operations, offering practical insights into the dynamic world of trading and investments.
One of the key highlights of the session was the live trading demonstration, which captivated the participants’ attention. SEBI expert and trainer, Mr Anil Sharma, showcased real-time trading scenarios, explaining the intricacies of the stock market, trading strategies, and risk management techniques. Participants gained invaluable insights into the factors influencing stock prices, market trends, and the importance of making informed investment decisions.
Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Rakwal, Principal, Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu lauded the efforts of the Department of Business Administration for conducting a session on such a pertinent area as it has given the opportunity to the students to witness real-time trading activities, learn about different trading strategies, and understand the factors influencing stock prices. The workshop was organized under the supervision of Prof. Bharti Salathia, Head, Department of Business Administration. The entire workshop was coordinated by Prof. Meena Gupta. Prof. Ajay Virdi and Prof. Shiv Kumar were part of the organizing team.
The session concluded with a lively Q&A session, where students enthusiastically interacted with the SEBI representatives, seeking clarifications on various topics. The resource person appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and encouraged them to further explore the field of stock market investment.
