| Under the banner of "Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan," NSS Unit of Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu hosted multiple events on August 11, 2023. Aiming to foster environmental consciousness, a plantation drive was conducted, creating an 'Amrit Vatika' within the college premises. Volunteers took a pledge, holding mitti ke diye symbolizing the five elements.Also, another event 'Veeron Ka Vandan' was also organised, honoring Kargil War heroes Subedar Major Pritan Singh, Captain Sukhdev Singh Chib, and Rifleman Kuldeep Singh Bhau of 13 J&K Rifles- Double PVC. They shared their war experiences. Dr. Koushal Kiran Thakur and Prof. Shabeer Ahmed supervised the program. |
