| On 20th November 2023 ,the Department of Psychology, in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling Cell and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Maulana Azad Memorial (MAM) College, Jammu, organized a rally to raise awareness on mental health issues to commemorate celebration of Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) under the theme "My Constitution My Pride". The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.The event was organized by Prof Neelam Kumari, Dr. Richa Gupta, and Dr. Shahnawaz Mushtaq Mangral from the Department of Psychology and Psychological Counseling Cell, under the supervision of Professor Neeraj Sharma, IQAC Coordinator, and Dr. Vishal Sharma, Co-Coordinator of IQAC.The event culminated in a peaceful rally adorned with thought-provoking posters and empowering slogans, echoing the importance of mental health awareness.Dr. Sanjay Karlupia, Incharge Principal, graced the occasion with his presence, commending the initiative taken by both students and faculty members. He expressed his appreciation for their dedication and encouraged the organization of more such meaningful events in the future.The student participants from the department of Psychology not only sensitized the need for raising awareness among the masses regarding mental health but also encouraged students from other departments to mobilize efforts in support of mental health. |
