| Government MAM College won the men’s inter-college Hockey tournament of the Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) held at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today.In this three-team event, MAM College trounced GGM Science College 3-1 in the final. Jyotdeep scored two goals while other goal came through Jagmeet Singh. Earlier, in a preliminary round game, Science College blanked Government SPMR College of Commerce 4-0. Varun Kumar contributed two goals while Karan Bhagat and Simranjeet Singh added one goal each.The teams were encouraged by the Director Sports CLUJ, Dr Vinod Bakshi and Incharge Manager K K Hakhu Stadium, Ajay Gupta. Also present were Neenu Sawhney, Sanjay Samyal and Aijaz Malik. The matches officiated by the technical officials including Mandeep Singh and Jagjeet Singh. |
