| The Department of Environmental Sciences and Eco-Club, in collaboration with IQAC, organised a lecture on “Environmental Laws ‘’ to commemorate the celebration of Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) under the theme “My Constitution, My Pride." The event was attended by students and faculty members.The resource person for the said event was Dr. Shaveta Choudhary, Assistant Professor Political Science, GDC RS Pura. She highlighted various aspects of environmental laws and regulations that have been legislated from time to time. She tried to create awareness regarding environmental challenges and ways and means to cope with such challenges.The event was organised by Dr. Sudesh Kumar, HOD Environmental Sciences, and Dr. Navita Sharma, Assistant Professor, under the supervision of Prof. Neeraj Sharma, IQAC Coordinator.Dr. Sanjay Karlopia, the in-charge principal, graced the occasion with his presence and apprised the students about various environmental challenges across the globe in general and India in particular.The event was concluded after thorough discussion and questions by students and the guest speaker. A formal vote of thanks was accorded by Dr. Navita Sharma. The event was attended by various faculty members, including Dr. Sanjay Sambhyal, Assistant Professor Dheeraj Kumar, Assistant Professor Esarul Ayub, and Dr. Syed Naser Ali Shah. |
