| The Red Ribbon Club, Govt. MAM College Jammu organized a Rangoli making competition on 19th of January 2024 at the Research Hub. The event was organized to create awareness and understanding about HIV/AIDS among the college students on the occasion of “Observance of National Youth DAY -12th January 2024”. It is observed annually on the birthday of Swami Vivekanand. The event was graced by the presence of our worthy Principal, Dr. G. S. Rakwal and he delivered an inspirational speech on this occasion regarding HIV/AIDS and thrown light on the philosophies of life given by Swami Viveknanad Ji. The event was also attended by the Red Ribbon Committee members like Ms. Pinky Kotwal (Convener), Ms. Menaka Rajput (Co-convener), Dr. Shiv Mangal Singh, Dr. Kamaljeet Kour, Prof. Mohd. Ashraf and Prof. Asha Rani. Many students from Semester 1st, 3rd and 5th participated in the competition named Arti Bandral, Sunakshi Devi, Sandaya Devi, Zoya Gafoor, Madhvi Baloria,Shalini Chib, Nargis Chouhan, Komal Jamwal, Prekshi Gupta and Manvi. The competition was judged by Dr. Shally Gupta (HOD,Dept. of Maths) and Prof. Asha Rani(Dept. of Music). The first position secured by Arti Bandral and Sunakshi Devi,second by Prekshi Gupta and Manvi and third by Madhvi Baloria and Shalini Chib. |
