| NSS unit in collaboration with NCC units and Department of Political Science, History and Philosophy of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu and under the ageis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a Painting competition on the theme "Important Events of the Freedom Struggle" on 1st of August 2024 under the guidance and able leadership of the Principal, Prof.(Dr). B.B.Anand of the college. This program was organised as a part of the Independence Day Celebration program from Ist of August to 15th of August 2024 as per the directives issued by the Principal Secretary to the Higher Education Department,J&K. Today's program commenced with a Plantation drive, titled "Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam" organised by the District Administration in the Hari Singh Park followed by inaugural rally of Swachhata Pakhwada to Balidaan Stambh. Staff members along with students participated in this event. A number of students also participated in the painting competition which was organised in the college in which Ananya Verma of 3rd Sem got the first prize, Kunal and Muskan stood 2nd, Iruvantika and Madhav shared the Third and Deeksha Thakur got the consolation prize. Dr. Amit Pal Kour, Dr. Seema Jamwal and Dr. Deep Chand were the judges of today's Painting competition.Prof. (Dr) B.B.Anand Principal, Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu on this occasion highlighted the importance of cherishing our struggle for freedom. He also applauded the students for their participation. The whole event was organized by Prof. Lukesha Dubgotra(NSS PO), Dr. Kailash Sharma (NSS PO), Prof. Dheeraj Sharma (NSS PO) and Dr. Simran Raina. |
