Neha Sharma becomes first Naval Unit Girl Cadet from Jammu & Kashmir UT, who represented Country under Youth Exchange Programme to Vietnam.Senior Cadet Captain Neha Sharma, of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu has made history by becoming the first-ever girl cadet from Jammu & Kashmir selected for National Cadet Corps delegation under Youth Exchange Programme to Vietnam. The delegation was consisting a group of 13 members across the country.This momentous achievement not only brought pride to the JK&L Directorate and the 1 J&K Naval Unit but also spotlights the Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu. Selected from NCC cadets from 28 States and Union Territories and from 17 Directorates across the Nation, Neha’s journey from a remote background to a national achiever is a testament to her unwavering determination and resilience.Reflecting on Neha’s achievement, Lieutenant Commander Tej Ram Shama, Commanding Officer of 1J&K Naval Unit NCC, remarked that Neha’s dedication and perseverance set her apart as a role model for cadets across the Nation. Her selection as a member of delegation representing Country is a testament to her hard work and commitment.
