Teachers day celebration
"On the occasion of Teachers' Day, Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu, celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) B.B. Anand. The event was graced by Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Jia Lal Kotwal and Guest of Honour Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Saraswat, Nodal Principal, Jammu Division Colleges.

The program commenced with a Saraswati Vandana performed by the Department of Music students, followed by cultural presentations by college students. The Chief Guest, Prof. J. L. Kotwal, an eminent academician anf educator, and Guest of Honour, Dr. S. P. Saraswat, Nodal Principal, were felicitated by the college.

A symposium competition was held on the theme "The Life, Teachings, and Philosophies of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan." The winners were:

- First prize: Muskan Manhas (Semester V)
- Second prize: Dushyant (Semester III)
- Third prize: Sachin Kumar (Semester V)

Dr. Ruth K. Masehi and Dr. Gurdeep Kour served as judges. Faculty members received gifts, and the Chief Guest addressed the students, appreciating the faculty's efforts.

Principal Dr. B.B. Anand shared insightful views on teachers' roles in nation-building. The event was coordinated by Dr. Amitpal Kour and Dr. Bharti Salathia, with Palakpreet and Anandi managing the proceedings. Dr. Pallavi Bhagat delivered the vote of thanks."
