| On 25th of October, 2024 Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu today organized a Symposium on the theme “Ethics of Integrity for Nation’s prosperity”. The symposium was organized under Vigilance Awareness week 2024 by the college Vigilance Awareness organizing committee under the able guidance of principal Prof. Dr. B.B. Anand. Prof. Dr. B.B. Anand was also the Chief Guest on the occasion. While addressing the students principal Prof. Dr. B.B. Anand highlighted the importance of cultural integrity. He emphasized that a nation’s prosperity is determined by the values and character of its people. Among these values, integrity stands out as the foundation for a strong nation. He further stressed that India is a multicultural country and cultural unity and integrity is utmost important for Nations Prosperity. He also distributed prizes and certificates to the winners and participants of the symposium. The first position was secured by Saniya Sharma (1st sem), second position was secured by Mehrish Arora (1st sem) and the third position was secured by Anmol Verma (1st sem) while the consolation prizes were given to Krishay Bhatia (1st sem) and Neetakshi (1st sem). Prof. Ruth K Masehi, HOD English, Dr. Jyoti, HOD Hindi and Dr. Mohd. Akhter HOD Urdu were the judges for the event. Prof. Seema Jamwal convener Vigilance Organizing Committee and other Committee members Dr. Bharti Slathia, Prof. Swati and Prof. Sham Lal were also present on the occasion.Earlier the programme started with welcome address by Prof. Shamboo Nath Manhas. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Farhat Saleem, student of 5th sem while the vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Menaka Rajput. |
