JAMMU, 22 March. NCC Unit of Maulana Azad Memorial (MAM) College here today hosted the annual Rank Ceremony for National Cadet Corps (NCC) for the session 2025-26 celebrating the commendable achievements of its cadets under the guidance of the Principal of the College, Dr. Rajinder Singh and under the supervision of Prof. Shiv Kumar, NCC Officer of the College.The chief guest on this occasion was Brigadier D.N, Pandey, Grp Commander ,Jammu Grp and Colonel Naveen Sharma, Commanding Officer ,2nd J&K Battalion NCC Jammu was the guest of honour.Dr.Rajinder Singh, the Principal of the college acknowledged and highlighted the remarkable achievements of the NCC, appreciating the dedication and hard work of the cadets. He also extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the cadets who have been recommended for various academies as future officers, encouraging them to continue their journey with pride, discipline, and commitment.Brigadier D.N. Pandey motivated the NCC cadets with his inspiring words, encouraging them to uphold discipline, leadership, and dedication in their journey. He also extended his best wishes for their future endeavours, urging them to strive for excellence and serve the nation with pride and commitment.The event featured a vibrant cultural program, including group dances, skits, poetry recitations, songs, and other performances, showcasing the diverse talents of the cadets and adding to the celebratory spirit of the occasion.Additionally, the cadets who have been commissioned as officers were also felicitated, . The event served as an inspiration for aspiring cadets, celebrating the hard work and success of those who have achieved this prestigious milestone." The cadets commissioned are JUO Ashish Koul, SUO Ranjan Verma, CDT Aryan Sharma, JUO Aman Manhas, and JUO Nikhil Manhas.The event concluded with the appointment ceremony for rank holders in the NCC was also conducted with great enthusiasm, where deserving cadets were formally conferred with their ranks in recognition of their leadership, discipline, and dedication. The newly appointed SUOs were Abhe and Bobby Singh. Anish Kumar, Netish Singh, Sukhveer Singh, and Sameer Malhotra were appointed as JUOs.In concluding remarks, Prof. Shiv Kumar, NCC Officer thanked the Principal, Dr. Rajinder Singh, Brig. D.N.
