lecture on the topic “Importance of Ayurveda in Human Life and Mental Hygiene” by Dr Himani Bhutyal, Department of Ayush
Today on 8th April, 2025, the NSS units of Maulana Azad Memorial College organized a lecture on the topic “Importance of Ayurveda in Human Life and Mental Hygiene” by Dr Himani Bhutyal, Department of Ayush followed by conclusion of NSS Special Camp with great enthusiasm and a sense of accomplishment during its valedictory function. The event celebrated the efforts and contributions of volunteers who dedicated themselves to community service and social development throughout the camp. Prof Archana Koul, Principal, Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu appreciated the efforts of the NSS units in organizing this camp. Prof Amit Paul Kour, NSS Programme Coordinator Cluster university of Jammu expressed their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the NSS volunteers. The programme was attended by Prof Neeraj Sharma, Convener IQAC, Prof Ruth K Masei, Dr. Gurdeep Kour, Dr Harbhajan Singh, Dr Rajinder Kumar, Prof Deep Chand, Dr. Gagandeep Jangral and Dr. Shiv Mangal Singh. The NSS Special Camp, which ran from 1st April to 8th April, focused on various social issues, including cleanliness drives, cloths distribution, awareness programs, etc. The volunteers actively participated in several community-oriented initiatives, showcasing their commitment to building a better and more sustainable society.
The camp was organized by the collective efforts of NSS Programme Officers Dr Kailash Sharma, Prof Dheeraj Kumar Bhardwaj and Prof. Lukesha Dubgotra. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to the volunteers in recognition of their contributions to the camp’s success.
The event concluded with NSS song which fosterd a sense of social responsibility and patriotism among all present in the conference hall.
