| KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS CELEBRATION 21st Anniversary of "Kargil Vijay Diwas" was celebrated by the NCC Cadets of 2 J&K Boys Bn Jammu in Govt. M. A. M. College, Jammu on 25th July, 2020 under the supervision of Major Dr. Karan Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the college. The chief guest on this occasion was Major General N. K. Airy (Additional Director General) Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate ,Special chief guest was Brigadier N. R. Babu ( Deputy Director General), Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate and Guest of honor were Colonel Dharmendra Pandey, Commanding Officer of 1 J&K Armed Squadron, Jammu and Colonel R. K. Sharma, Commanding Officer of 2 J&K Girls Bn NCC, Jammu. The other dignitaries present were Colonel Masood Ahmad Mufti, Sub. Major Deepak Singh, Lt. Rohit Sharma, other JCOs, PI staff of NCC group Jammu, Prof. P. S. Thakur, Dr. Namita, Prof. Sanjay Kumar and Dr. Ranjodh Singh.Inauguration by lighting the candles was done by the Chief Guest. The welcome address was given by Dr. G. S. Rakwal, Principal Govt. M. A. M College. Major General, N. K. Airy appreciated the efforts of the NCC Officer and cadets of the institution.Some NCC cadets also spoke on the occasion. They showed their willingness to join the Indian Army to serve the motherland.The vote of thanks was presented by Major Dr. Karan Singh in which he motivated the youth to join the Indian Army to serve the nation. |
