| Webinar on “KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS CELEBRATION” NCC Cadets of 2 J&K Boys Bn, Govt. M. A. M. College, Jammu celebrated 21st Anniversary of "Kargil Vijay Diwas" under the able guidance of Principal Prof. G.S Rakwal and under the supervision of Major Dr. Karan Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the college by organising a National webinar. Colonel Dharmendra Pandey, Commanding Officer of 1 J&K Armed Squadron, Jammu also participated in the Webinar. The Webinar started with Kargil Song by NCC Cadets followed by opening address by Major Dr. Karan Singh. He started the event by taking National Pledge along with all his NCC Cadets. Various clips on Kargil war were also shown to the NCC Cadets. Cadets were educated and motivated to join Indian Army and were also shown a Video on War Memorial at India Gate. Major Dr. Karan Singh apprised the cadets that how despite hardships Indian soldiers gave befitting reply during Kargil War. NCC Students showed their zeal and enthusiasim in serving their nation and also presented Patriotic songs and poetry. Cadet Vishav Pratap Singh and cadet Anish Dubey scored 1st and 2nd position in Poem Competition.The Webinar concluded with NCC Song followed by National Anthem and BHARAT MATA KI JAI Slogan. Prof. P. S. Thakur, Dr. Namita Singh, Dr. Ranjodh Singh also participated in the Webinar. A total of 250 NCC Cadets and 20 ANO’s from Jammu,Kashmir &Ladakh Directorate participated in the Webinar |
