| Department of Environmental Science in collaboration with NSS unit, NCC cadets and Eco Club of Maulana Azad Memorial College under the patronage of Worthy Principal Prof. Archana Kaul organised an interactive session on Green Campus Initiative. About 100 students of NSS unit, NCC cadets and Eco Club volunteers attended the session. The members of Jammu Municipal Cooperation interacted with the students and make them aware about the various parameters which they consider in the green campus certification and also motivated the students to work for the same. The IEC team of SWAAHA Resource Pvt. Ltd. also conducted the survey of the college campus to verify the ongoing sanitation and sustainable practices for declaration of the institution as Green Campus. The IEC team members also committed to extend their full support to fulfill all the parametric requirements of Green Campus Certification Program. Prof. Renu Sharma (HoD, Environmental Science), Prof. Navita Sharma (Assistant Professor, EVS), Prof. Gagandeep Jangral (NCC ANO), Dr. Kailash Sharma (NSS Programme Officer), Prof. Menaka Rajput (NSS Programme Officer), and Prof. Dheeraj Kumar (NSS Programme Officer) were also present on the occasion. |
