| Govt. MAM College, Jammu conducted Session on skill course in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development, Jammu on 1st, April, 2021 under the patronage of Prof Sunil Uppal., Principal of the college. Prof Bharti Slathia, Coordinator of the Industrial Skill Courses welcomed the participants and the resource person Mr. Vishal Ray and Dheeraj Handu, Faculty of JKEDI.Prof Sunil Uppal, lauded the efforts of the Industrial Skill Courses Committee and JKEDI team in conducting session on such a pertinent area as it would help the young learners to learn about varied entrepreneurship, startup and career options available to them. He exhorted that in today ‘competitive era, skill course will enhance your employability in the job markets.Faculty of JKEDI introduced with the students the concept of the of entrepreneurship and they explained the entrepreneurship scenario in the UT (JK). They also stressed that various potential areas for entrepreneurship can be explored in Jammu and Kashmir. Finally they have conducted varied activities such as Business Cycle, Buying activity and also group activities based on work cards and team involvement.Prof. Ranjodh Singh, formally extent vote of thanks with concluding remarks and thanked the entire team for conducting such fruitful session. Prof Dheeraj , Prof Sudesh Kumar, Prof . Sanjay Singh, Prof Shiv Kumar, Prof Ajay Kumar, Prof Bhanu Priya were also present on the occasion. |
