| Gender club of Govt MAM PG college, Jammu under the guidance of Prof(Dr)G.S.Rakwal organised a webinar on the topic –“Hindu Law of Inheritance” in order to spread awareness among the students regarding various laws existing in our Country. The occasion was graced by the wonderful and informative lecture by eminent personality Ms. Meenu Padha, Advocate and Member JUICASH, President NCWDC. She highlighted various sections and amendments in Hindu law of inheritance. She talked on various survival rules and Hindu succession act, 2005 as well.She also quoted various judgements given by Supreme court of India. The principal of the college Prof(Dr.) G. S. Rakwal appreciated the lecture delivered by the resource person. He also motivated the students to attend such lectures. Webinar was attended by large number of students of the college. Welcome address was given by Dr. Shehnaz Qadri, member Gender club and HOD Urdu and vote of thanks was given⁶ by Prof Bhanu Priya, HOD commerce. The webinar was organised under the convenor ship of Prof. Meenakshi Thakur along with other members of Gender club-Dr. shehnaz Qadri, Prof BhanuPriya and Prof Vijeeta Anand. |
