| Department of Computer Application of Govt. MAM College Jammu Organized Induction cum Orientation program for the BCA students, session 2017-18. The aim of the program was to provide the relevant information and scope of the BCA Course and the line of action to be followed by the students in seeking admission in the higher Courses and placement in the MNCs’.Prof. Vinod Sharma, HOD Dept of Computer Science and IT University of Jammu and alumini of the college was the main resource person on the occasion. He exhorted on the relevance of Information Technology in the Techno savvy competitive era of today and motivated them to widen their knowledge Horizons towards a brilliant future and also gave valuable inputs regarding placement of BCA students. Prof. Sharma Chief Guest on the occasion appreciated their innovative steps taken by the college by organizing a programme unique of its own kind.Dr. Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college inspire the students to work with zeal and vigor to achieve outstanding results in their academics. He appreciate the Department for providing a platform to the students to be familiar with their subjects. He emphasizes on conducting such type of activities by the department in future.Earlier Ms. Monika Mahajan , HOD, Department of Computer Application welcome the guests and the students and give a brief profile of the Department. Induction program was followed by a healthy interactive session. The program ended with formal vote of thanks by Prof. Shallu Gupta. The comparing of the programme was done by Ms. Sapna and Ms. Shivani students of BCA. |
