| P.G. Department of Mathematics, Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu in collaboration with IQAC in continuation to the celebrations of 75th year of Independence Day under the title of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” organised Online Mathematics Poster making Competition on the theme “Mathematics for a Better World” on 31st January, 2022, under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr) G.S. Rakwal with an objective to explore and enhance the knowledge of students in mathematics. 25 students from various streams of the college participated enthusiastically in the event. Dr. Kamaljeet Kour and Prof Sonam Mehta were the members of the jury for the competition. The first prize was bagged by Sanya Kotwal, a student of 5th semester (Hons), second prize received by Anisha Devi, a student of P. G. Semester 1st and third prize secured by Aaina Verma, a student of P. G. Semester 3rd. The whole event was co-ordinated by Dr. Shally Gupta and Dr. Anupama Gupta. Prof (Dr.) G.S. Rakwal, Principal congratulated the winners of the event and faculty of Mathematics Department for successfully organizing the activity. |
