| Department of English, Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu, organized a Talk with Nitin Sonwane on 31st January 2022. Nitin Sonwane has achieved the incredible feat of travelling the world on foot to share the Gandhian message of peace and harmony. This talk was organised under the patronage of Dr. G.S. Rakwal, Principal of the College and was attended by Faculty and students of English department. The programme began with the welcome address by Prof. Ruth Gill, Head of the Department of English. The Resource person enlightened the audience with the Gandhian principles. Mr. Sonawane’s odyssey of peace inspired by Gandhiji emphasised the beauty of Gandhian ideology and philosophy. The presentation ended with the discussion regarding the unique experiences of the guest inspiring students towards the teachings of Gandhiji.
