| Department of Environmental Sciences, Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu hosted a webinar on 2nd February 2022, on World Wetlands day. Mr. Rohit Rattan, Associate Coordinator and office-in- Charge, Western Himalays Programme, WWF-India has highly elaborated the theme ‘Wetlands action for People and Nature’ and aware the students about the importance, conservation and sustainable use of wetlands for human and planetary health. He also interacts with the students and solves their quarries related to the wetlands.The Webinar was organised under the patronage of Dr. G. S. Rakwal, Principal of the college, faculty members and about 100 students of Environmental Sciences. The programme began with the welcome address of Ms. Navita Sharma, Assistant Professor. A formal vote of thanks was presented by Ms. Sonika Chaudhary. |
